Masen was created in 2010 and oversees all renewable-energy efforts in Morocco. The Group aims to reach an energy-mix capacity that is 52% based on renewable energies by 2030. Masen is in charge of operationalizing the Royal vision for the country’s transition to a range of autonomous, environmentally-friendly renewable energies, under the best financial conditions, at the highest technical performance, and in perfect balance with the needs and capacities of the national network.
The ambition is to position Morocco at the forefront of the regional and global renewable-energy sector.
